• Key Responsibilities:

• Techno-Functional Leadership:
  • Lead and manage the ETL development & testing team providing technical direction and functional oversight.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in data engineering ETL design and performance optimization.
  • Be a technology SME on TU Data Acquisition application teams globally and the Ab Initio Product Suite like Control Center Metadata Hub Express>IT etc.
  • Champion the TU Development best practices and standards throughout the company and ensure the consistent implementation ofTU design patterns frameworks and architectural standards within applications.
• Team Guidance & Support:
  • Mentor and support team members to enhance productivity skill development and engagement.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
• Delivery Planning & Execution:
  • Own end-to-end delivery of ETL projects including planning resource allocation risk management and quality assurance.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones and releases.
• Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable delivery plans.
  • Align team efforts with the broader business roadmap and vision.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements automation and innovation within the ETL landscape.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and data quality.

Impact Youll Make:

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Systems or related field.
• 12 years of experience in ETL development and delivery management.
• Strong understanding and hands on experience of Ab Initio ETL tech Suite (Ab Initio GDE Express>IT Control Center etc) performance tuning project architecture SMP/MPP architectures platform integrations and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong Understanding of Unix OS Shell Scripting and Infrastructure Architecture.
• Strong Database Skills Preferably Postgres DB Optimization and Performance tuning.
• Proven experience in collaborating and leading globally located cross-functional teams and managing complex deliveries.
• Provide leadership on application platform development best practices
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business acumen.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
• Certification in project management (PMP PRINCE2) or Agile frameworks is a plus.
