Position Summary:The Technical Program Advisor provides strategic technical and operationalexpertiseto strengthen CRDFGlobalsthreat reduction and security programming. This position plays a key role in expanding CRDFGlobalstechnical depth developing new capabilities supporting implementation and amplifying CRDFGlobalsvisibility across global security and stabilization initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
Expand CRDFGlobalstechnical capability and service offering.
Use professional networks toidentifyrecruitand mentoradditionalexperts within assigned technical domains.
Produce white papers technical briefs training materials andconveneexpert roundtables.
Contribute to CRDFGlobalsreputation as a thought leader in global securitynonproliferationand stabilization.
Design and deliver technicaltrainingsfor CTR beneficiaries.
Mentor and coach CRDF Global staff to strengthen internal technical competencies.
Conduct horizon scans andmonitorChina/Russia/counter-proliferation policy and technology trends.
Provideevidence-based insights to guide strategy andvalidateprogram assumptions
Support proposal reviews to ensure scientific technical and policy rigor
Serve as a technical advisor across projects; delivertrainingsworkshopsand after-action reviews to enhance delivery quality and learning.
Strengthen and standardize CRDFGlobalsSME and partnership engagement systems including onboarding vetting and relationship management.
Publish thought leadership content and represent CRDF Global in international forumsworkshopsand conferences.
Bridge connections between expertspolicymakersand implementers to expand CRDFGlobalsinfluence.
Identifynew funders and funding opportunities to grow CRDFGlobalssecurity and threat reduction develop staff within CRDF Global.

Education & Experience:
8 years professional experience in nonproliferation global security or related technical advisory or policy roles.
Masters degree in international affairs security studies political science publicpolicyor a related technical/scientific field orBachelorsdegree with 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience supporting oradvisingU.S. government funded programs ( of State CTR DoD) strongly preferred.
Proven ability to designleador evaluate complex international programs.
Demonstrated success in producing technical or policy content (white papersbriefingsor training modules).
Prior experience mentoring staff or managing technicalteamspreferred.
Strong analyticalwritingand presentation abilities.
Deep understanding of emerging security and nonproliferation trends.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and cultures.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
U.S. work authorizationrequired.
