Job Summary

Short Term Planner Mackay Based

Emeco is seeking an experienced Short-Term Planner to join our Mackay based team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

Develop short-term shutdown plans that bring our long-term asset strategy to life maximising every stoppage to enhance Emecos fleet while staying on time and on budget.

The Role

Plan and coordinate upcoming asset shutdowns (36 months ahead)
Schedule and oversee pre-shutdown inspections to assess asset condition
Develop and maintain detailed shutdown plans (124 week window) covering component changeouts defect backlog and strategic maintenance tasks
Collaborate with Superintendents Project Managers and Coordinators to plan labour and resources
Confirm BOM kits order additional parts and manage vendor scopes and budgets (CAPEX/OPEX)
Submit shutdown plans for review and ensure full stakeholder alignment before execution

About You

Trade background in heavy mobile equipment (CAT Hitachi Komatsu preferred).
Proven maintenance scheduling experience.
Strong planning organisation and time management skills.
Proficient in AMT (CMMS) and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of equipment productivity in mining environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
