Clinic LPN

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.

As our Clinic LPN at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson you will help our patients by providing nursing care to our patients in our Clinic. You will work with our patients daily to evaluate their needs and provide physical or psychosocial care.

To succeed in this role you must have genuine compassion for your patients well-being and understand your part in helping our patients feel at ease. You also have the patience to explain the process answer questions and update documentation.

• Interviews patients and records their medical history
• Obtains and documents patient vital signs; reports abnormal findings promptly
• Administers and documents administration of treatments and medications within scope of practice; may administer oral topical and suppository medications; administer injections infusions and blood transfusions; start IVs
• Verifies that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
• Observes and records patients conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
• Serves as a liaison between physician and patient; shares information and reinforces education and instructions provided by the care provider

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent Required.
• Completion of accredited LPN Program Required.
• 1 year of experience Preferred.
