Who You Are:

A team focused engineer with experience building large scale systems. You have extensive experience with spine and leaf networks automation and design experience.

What Youll Do:

Designing and maintaining a highly available EVPN-VXLAN spine and leaf network.
Implementing a micro-segmented network security posture.
Design and implement a monitoring system that will include a dark fiber network.
Design and implement an Infrastructure as Code methodology around networking components.
Design and maintain perimeter networking devices in a highly secure posture.
Mentor junior network engineers.

What Were Looking For:

Experience managing Juniper network devices.
Experience with Juniper Apstra and Mist.
Extensive experience with BGP.
Experience with Terraform for network provisioning.
Experience with Palo-Alto firewalls.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g. RHEL CentOS Ubuntu).
Understanding of security best practices including access controls encryption and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS Azure GCP) and containerization (Docker Containerd).
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python Bash or Perl.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with version control systems (Git SVN).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
