Outdoor Greens / Floral Planter Design Associates

Location: South Surrey West Coast Gardens
Hours: 8:30am5:00pm 3040 hours per week

Pay: $2022/hr depending on experience.
Duration: OctoberDecember (possibility to continue into Spring season)

At West Coast Gardens were hiring for our Christmas season and have several positions open for Outdoor Greens / Floral Planters including Design Associates and General Support.

Youll be part of a fast-paced creative team that designs and builds outdoor planters filled with evergreens branches and festive accents. Every day brings something new: gathering materials arranging textures and colours keeping displays fresh and helping customers find planters they love.

What Youll Do

Create outdoor planters using templates greens and decorative accessories

Gather product and follow design themes for various container styles

Restock planters and maintain full attractive displays in-store

Keep the work and retail areas clean organized and well-stocked

Care for greens and plants to keep them healthy and appealing

Assist customers with advice for outdoor planters suited to different spaces (sun shade wind etc.)

Who You Are

Creative and enjoy hands-on design-focused work

Reliable energetic and take pride in doing quality work quickly

Comfortable working on your feet in a cooler environment

A team player who enjoys working alongside others during busy seasons

Able to lift 40 lbs and carry 1015 lbs

(Experience in floral or garden design is helpful but not well train the right creative person.)

Compensation

Based on experience

May evolve into a full-time 40-hour position
