A boutique business advisory firm in Malta is seeking a Tax Advisor to join their growing team and provide expert tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a hybrid role and offers a salary of up to 45K.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to clients on Maltese tax matters including Provisional Tax
- Payments and Social Security Contributions
- Prepare and review income tax returns and computations for both individual and corporate clients
- Handle the preparation and submission of income tax refund claim forms shareholder registrations and dividend warrants
- Liaise with the tax authorities on compliance issues and correspondence
- Assist with the preparation of DAC6 reports and other regulatory documentation as required
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes to ensure efficiency and compliance
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the Maltese Income Tax system
- Near completion of ACCA qualification
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a first-class tailored service
