A high-achieving and well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join its thriving department from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to teach motivated students within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You will teach Science across KS3KS5 delivering engaging lessons that spark enthusiasm and encourage independent thinking. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to teach across the sciences though specialisms in Biology Chemistry or Physics are welcome.
Lessons are designed to combine theory with hands-on experimentation supported by modern laboratories and well-equipped practical spaces. Youll also play a key role in supporting the schools strong commitment to STEM enrichment with opportunities to lead science clubs field trips and national competitions such as the UK Chemistry Olympiad and British Science Week initiatives.
