Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging well-structured lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Foster a safe nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports all pupils
• Monitor and assess pupil progress using data to inform planning and interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency share best practice and contribute to school improvement
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupils learning and wellbeing
• Contribute to the wider life of the school including assemblies events and enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 ideally Year 1 or Year 2
• Excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for teaching creativity and commitment to inclusion
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the school community
