Job Summary

Overview

Were looking for a high-performing process-driven and mission-aligned professional to join our team at the intersection of property technology and the rapidly growing energy management industry.

As a DeploymentEngineer & QA youll play a key role in final remote commissioning control logic deployment and data quality validation for building automation systems across multiple regions. From the Niagara JACE layer to the customer-facing dashboard youll ensure that each system performs efficiently reliably and to specification.

This role reports directly to the Director of Systems Integration and collaborates closely with the Product team to deliver cutting-edge building automation and energy optimization solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Commissioning & Deployment

Work alongside the Building Intelligence Engineer to transition each building from installation to software calibration.
Develop deploy and commission building automation control logic using the Tridium Niagara N4 framework.
Review and validate programming for quality consistency and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct remote commissioning ensuring seamless integration between control systems and customer dashboards.

Support & Troubleshooting

Assist the Service Delivery team with the deployment maintenance and troubleshooting of building automation programming dashboards and related product features.
Diagnose and resolve issues with BAS controls networking or data integration to maintain optimal system performance.
Perform data validation and ensure accurate trend logging and reporting for energy systems.

Documentation & Handoff

Manage and maintain comprehensive site documentation for downstream teams including:
- System Descriptions
- Sequence of Operations
- Commissioning Notes and Issue Logs
- Logic Quality and Functionality Assessments
- Energy System Baselining Reports

Collaboration & Innovation

Partner with the Product team on Niagara-based projects involving logic development automation features and system troubleshooting.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of control strategies data infrastructure and product capabilities.
Support continuous development of Niagara and Haystack tagging standards to enhance system interoperability and data visibility.

Qualifications

3 years of hands-on experience with the Tridium Niagara N4 framework.
3 years of experience commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) from installation through final deployment.
Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems operations.
Proven ability to interpret and implement BMS control submittals and Sequence of Operations documentation.
Experience performing trend and data analysis to validate system performance.
Skilled in troubleshooting control systems and network connectivity both remotely and on-site.
Experience designing and deploying Niagara-based graphics and interfaces.
Working knowledge of WAN/LAN systems and Niagara Supervisor infrastructure (on-prem and cloud-based).
Familiarity with Project Haystack tagging and data modeling concepts.
