Salary Range: $150000 - $190000
Bonus Potential: 15%
**Note: This is an application architect role not an enterprise architect position. The Principal Architect will guide technical teams but is not a people manager. Compliance with federal regulations is paramount.

Lead the design and development of a high-transaction regulatory-compliant system prioritizing 100% compliance with federal regulations to protect the companys interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design a scalable secure microservices architecture using NodeJS React and PostgreSQL.
- Ensure compliance with strict financial regulations integrating security measures API gateways and IAM solutions.
- Guide engineering teams as a technical manager fostering innovation and adherence to architectural standards.
- Develop integration strategies for third-party services payment gateways and compliance systems.
- Monitor system performance optimize for accuracy and reliability and maintain thorough documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural vision with project goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years in software architecture with 3 years as a principal architect focused on Microservices Architecture and design patterns including service discovery and load balancing
- Expertise in NodeJS React and PostgreSQL with strong experience in high-transaction systems.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and DevSecOps practices.
- Deep understanding of API gateways IAM (e.g. OAuth 2.0) and security standards (e.g. OWASP).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills to lead technical discussions and influence decisions.
