Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with various tasks on commercial interior remodeling projects. This role supports skilled trades and ensures that job sites are clean safe and ready for work. The ideal candidate is reliable physically fit and capable of following instructions in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with demolition framing drywall painting flooring and other remodeling tasks
Load and unload tools materials and equipment at job sites
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Operate hand and power tools as directed
Measure cut and prep materials
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Support carpenters electricians plumbers and other trades as needed
Handle waste disposal and debris removal
Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
Previous construction or remodeling experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 50 lbs stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
Willingness to learn and take direction
Reliable transportation to job sites
Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
Ability to work in various weather and indoor conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Forklift or scissor lift certification
Experience in commercial construction environments
Working Conditions:
Job sites are typically indoor commercial buildings (e.g. offices retail medical spaces)
May involve working early mornings evenings or weekends depending on project timelines
Potential for travel to multiple job sites
