Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Day shift) Location: Rowlett TX 75088
Shift: 10-hr Days 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist provides technical assistance to physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures. This role is responsible for preparing the procedure room and equipment instructing patients monitoring patient conditions and delivering both routine and emergency care during procedures. The specialist also contributes to quality control initiatives and supports the orientation and training of new team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Prepare procedure rooms equipment and sterile fields according to protocol.
- Educate and instruct patients pre-procedure.
- Monitor patient condition and vital signs during procedures.
- Administer emergency care as needed under physician supervision.
- Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records.
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training of team members.
- Assist with quality control audits and compliance reporting (daily monthly and/or quarterly).
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate degree OR 2 years of relevant work experience above the minimum required.
Experience:
- Less than 1 Year of Experience required.
Certifications/Licenses (Required):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Must be obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer.
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Must be obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer.
- One of the following certifications is required:
- ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography)
- MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist Texas)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
- CEPS (Certified Electrophysiology Specialist)
- CCDS (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist)
