Job Summary

Cath Lab Technologist (Day Shift)

Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 10-hr Days 7:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Maintain sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout procedures.
Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment.
Document procedure details and patient responses accurately.
Monitor and assess patient condition pre intra and post-procedure.
Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in performance improvement and compliance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Associates Degree OR 2 years of relevant work experience beyond the minimum qualifications.

Experience:

Less than 1 year of experience required.
Will consider Radiologic Technologists with Operating Room experience in a hospital setting.

Certifications/Licensure:

Must hold at least one of the following:

ARRT-R (Radiography) MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist - Texas)
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
CEPS (Certified Electrophysiology Specialist)
CCDS (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist)

Required Life Support Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
