Responsibilities / Experience:

• Perform software quality assurance testing and support for TIERS YourTexasBenefits Mobile App State Portal Workflow Management Eligibility Web Services Enterprise Document Services Enterprise Content Management Document Center Call Center Inquiry and other social services applications.

• Develop enhance maintain and execute test plans and scenarios for web-based J2EE/Portal applications within HHSCs SOA platform using Agile methodologies.

• Participate in requirements analysis test design test data preparation and testing of application components.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals.

• Create and maintain technical and design documentation.

• Employ contemporary testing methods to ensure proper functionality and error-free applications.

• Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts.

• Contribute to program design coding and test walkthroughs providing input on technical standards and customer requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Successful candidates will require:

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong understanding and experience of fundamental programming and testing concepts in the context of Web based UI applications.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science computer information systems engineering or management information systems is strongly preferred.

Candidate Skills & Minimum Requirements:

• 8 years of experience in software development and SDLC including Agile methodologies.

• 8 years of knowledge of computer systems IT equipment programming languages software hardware and operating systems.

• 8 years of experience analyzing requirements user stories and acceptance criteria; writing test plans and scenarios to validate application/business process requirements.

• 8 years of experience analyzing software applications defects and business problems to devise evidence-based solutions.

• 3 years of experience with tools such as HP UFT Katalon HP LoadRunner SoapUI LoadUI Selenium HP ALM HP PPM SQL XML; creating interface files and running batch jobs.

• 3 years of experience collaborating with development testing teams and end-users using Agile principles.

• Hands-on QA experience (manual and/or automated) using HP UFT SoapUI Selenium HP ALM HP PPM JIRA JAMA PLSQ.
