Job Overview/Summary:
Pulivarthi Group is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to join a leading healthcare institution. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe effective and evidence-based use of medications through distribution clinical consultation and patient education. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise attention to detail and strong collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation distribution and monitoring of medications.

• Provide drug therapy consultations and education to healthcare professionals and patients.

• Conduct ongoing drug therapy monitoring to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

• Support formulary management and medication safety initiatives.

• Participate in staff education orientation and training on pharmacological practices.

• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff or students when applicable.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies regulations and accreditation standards.

Primary Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology drug interactions and therapeutic guidelines.

• Proficiency in medication order review and verification systems.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting.

• Attention to accuracy and ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with at least 2 years of relevant practice).

• Current Florida Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain within 60 days of employment.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 3 months of hire).

• Preferred: Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency.

• Preferred: Experience in an academic or hospital pharmacy environment.

• Preferred: Leadership experience scholarly contributions and teaching interest.
