Job Description:

DUTIES:

Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to System Validation of x86-64 architecture.
The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume:
Setup and configure x86 server platforms/rack
Develop and Execute Server System Validation Test plans (Operating Systems Virtualization Environment System Stress Applications Cluster Testing Cloud setup)
Participate in development and maintenance of new test cases targeting server/data center use cases.
Support lab debug activities.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Associates or Bachelor degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Good understanding of x86 and Server System Architecture Operating Systems Device Drivers and BIOS ACPI
Experience with Scripting and Server Automation Tools (Python Perl Ansible Jenkins )
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred OS requirements (install set-up configure and troubleshoot) MS Windows OS Linux OS. X86 SW Virtualization (VMware Xen KVM)
Strong understanding of Virtualization environments including Cluster (VMware KVM Hyper-V Xen)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good organizational skills to plan prioritize and manage assigned workload and to efficiently execute multiple projects at the same time.
