Job Summary
The base salary for this position is $14.00 hourly.
As our In-Room Dining Server you will be responsible for serving the needs of the business our guests and our colleagues by ensuring an outstanding and memorable in-room dining experience for each guest. This is a casual position.
- Deliver requested items in an efficient and timely manner.
- Relate with guests about needs and satisfaction with the beverage and drinks ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service.
- Retrieve orders from the POS system and communicate any special requests or modifications to the kitchen. Maintain knowledge of all menu items.
- Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature as required.
- Operate maintain and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings.
- Ensure that the food delivery is tidy and keep an accurate par of food items such as beverages and snacks as well as non-food items like menu cards napkins straws etc. on cart and in storage areas.
- Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper skills and food safety guidelines.
- Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service or the foodservice/hospitality industry.
- Must meet the minimum age requirements for food and alcohol service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays according to department needs.
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications as applicable to the position.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
