Job Summary

Description

Responsibilities:

Provides project management on large scale complex high profile and high risk projects for OPS I and amp;IT initiatives.
Ensures project deliverables meet clients business requirements on time scope and budget
Provide both Business and IT Project Leadership/Management as required
Support Shared Utility Service (SUS) in all strategic planning associated with the project and its impact on the partner Ministry Stakeholders political environment technical support environment etc. This includes assisting in preparing communications conducting presentations providing analysis and consulting advice.
Define plan and monitor Cloud Acceleration and API Marketplace initiative and multiple sub-projects under these initiative including multiple infrastructure and application sub-projects
Oversee systems integration within the SUS Platform and with the external partners
Assist / Facilitate / Responsible for development of Integrated Project Plan
Ensure that all required activities have been identified and assigned to sub project leads including new initiatives or changes to the initiatives processes procedures or functions
Obtain required sign off on all major project-related milestones
Manage business and IT project-related risks
Identify and rectify project schedule slippages and/or adjust project plan with stakeholders and partners
Monitor project and program timelines and deliverables and communicate the status to designated management / stakeholders on a regular basis
Resolution of escalated project / Program related issues
Monitor the development of architecture deliverables

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

1. and nbsp;Technology Leadership 25%

1.1.10 years experience in technology project management at least 5 years must include projects that required large technology procurements. and nbsp;

experience gathering and developing requirements in order to create and maintain project schedules and integrated plans. and nbsp;

experience using the agile / scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team clients and/or stakeholders in order to ensure success. and nbsp;

experience scheduling and facilitating agile / scrum eventsincluding but not limited to backlog management sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives. and nbsp;

experience with identifying and defining architectural requirements. and nbsp;

experience with change management. and nbsp;

experience identifying risks and providing proper mitigation strategies. and nbsp;

experience managing the implementation of application infrastructure or migration activities. and nbsp;

with Change Management and Release Management as processes supporting the implementation of large enterprise applications. and nbsp;

1.10. and nbsp;Experience with ITIL processes such as Service Level Management Problem Management Change Management Release Management and Capacity Management. and nbsp;

experience with the design of new enterprise and application layers and nbsp;

to define identify and describe information architectural requirements with clients and nbsp;

experience with common consistent shareable re-usable and extensible data structures and nbsp;

2.5.5 years of experience with quality control and assurance methodologies and practices as applied to the implementation of large applications and nbsp;

2.6 Experience managing enterprise solutions with technologies that include IBM Portal WebSphere DataPower OpenShift Cloud Automation Manager Ansible and Oracle Database. and nbsp;

2.7 Experience managing enterprise solutions with application Software such as Urban Code Velocity Cognos Informatica and IBM APIC and nbsp;

3. and nbsp;Vendor Management Experience 25%

experience managing large procurements i.e. procurements resulting in multi-year contract durations and total values over $2M and nbsp;

experience with the full lifecycle of public procurements including requirements development Request for Bids (RFB) development publishing evaluation contract award and vendor onboarding. and nbsp;

experience working with and managing external vendor relationships. and nbsp;

experience drafting SOW Work orders and contract negotiations. and nbsp;

vendor management experience in OPS / government setting understanding of Procurement practices and nbsp;

experience effectively communicating with teams clients various stakeholders and senior Management. and nbsp;

Must Have:

Experience working with the delivery of complex Cloud technology projects and nbsp;
Experience managing enterprise solutions with technologies that include IBM Portal WebSphere DataPower OpenShift Cloud Automation Manager Ansible and Oracle Database. and nbsp;
10 years experience in technology project management at least 5 years must include projects that required large technology procurements. and nbsp;
