Job Summary
A kind Swiss family living in Herisau (AR) near St. Gallen and Lake Constance is seeking a full-time live-in Nanny/Housekeeper. Their modern villa (built 2018) has a large garden outdoor pool and is close to public transportno driving required.
Mr C is a lawyer and politician Ms G works in insurance. They speak German English and Italian (Mr C also French and Spanish). Their children a girl aged 11 and a boy aged 9 attend school and speak good English.
The role is 40 hours a week (56 days) mainly childcare with some housekeeping. They seek someone warm reliable well-mannered and organisedwho enjoys engaging with children and can work independently while respecting the familys privacy. Occasional travel abroad may be required.
Our Swiss Partner agency has placed several au pairs and a nanny with this family since 2017 all of whom had excellent experiences and remain in touch. The family also offers German lessons and helps Nannies find future opportunities in Switzerland.
Requirements
Required Skills:
EU or Swiss passport or has a Swiss work permit. Up to date criminal background check. Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate Good references for recent and relevant nanny work Childcare qualifications preferred Able to run after and lift small children
