Job Summary
School Psychologist Middle School (Full-Time Leave Coverage Through February 2026)
Were seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join our middle school team on a full-time assignment through February 2026. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support 7th and 8th grade students including those in the general education population resource programs and 504 plans.
As a vital member of the schools multidisciplinary team youll conduct comprehensive evaluations participate in 504 and IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers administrators and families to ensure every student has access to the support they need to thrive. Your expertise will help shape proactive strategies that promote both academic achievement and emotional well-being.
In this role you will:
- Participate in eligibility 504 and IEP meetings to guide data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct psychological assessments and behavioral observations to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to design and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Support the development of positive behavioral and social-emotional frameworks within the school.
- Help create a learning environment where all students feel understood supported and motivated to succeed.
Requirements
- Hold a Masters Degree in School or Educational Psychology.
- Possess a valid school psychology license in the state of Illinois.
- Hold or be eligible to apply for a professional endorsement in School Psychology.
