Job Summary

Software Design Engineer

OM Group is hiring a Software Design Engineer to develop and maintain software systems supporting our clients automation initiatives. This role designs and implements software solutions integrates databases and enhances system capabilities in alignment with mission needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain custom software systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and implement requirements
Enhance existing software solutions and database integration
Conduct testing troubleshooting and performance optimization
Support integration of automation tools into enterprise systems

Qualifications:

6 years of software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in C Java
Database and API integration experience
Ability to analyze user needs and develop effective solutions
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
Proximity and ability to work full time on site in San Diego CA
Active Secret Security Clearance
BS in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
Contingent upon award

Compensation will be determined based on several factors including relevant experience education skills certifications and market conditions with an expected range of $150000 - $175000
