Who are we looking for
Were looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist or Engineer to become an integral part of our growingteam based in Perth.
Our Contamination Assessment & Remediation business group has grown rapidly in recent years and is currently one of the largest groups in WA with a significant backlog of work being a market leader in the provision of contaminated land hazardous materials environmental engineering acid sulphate soils asset transition including mine closure planning and waste management services. Our diverse team has been contributing to a wide variety of projects ranging from regional to national and global opportunities with the flexibility to meet the many needs of your career life stages and location preferences.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Senior Project and Proposal Management roles of medium to large scale contamination assessment and remediation projects for a range of key clients across multiples market sectors. This will include client liaison and working closely with the Project Director to deliver technically robust solutions for our clients. This will also include management of project budgets schedules and deliverables ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of tasks
- Occasionally undertake day or overnight travel to remote areas and Perth metropolitan region as required by client or project needs
- Designing comprehensive field investigations and remediation solutions managing third parties and sub-contractors providing guidance and technical advice
- Environmental management of construction and remediation projects from feasibility studies to design and construction
- Mentoring junior team members fostering their professional growth and development including line management of staff as required
What would you bring to the team
- Project management experience for medium and large scale projects some of which will be across multi-disciplinary teams
- Arelevant tertiary qualification in environmental engineering or science related subjectsand6 years experience in contaminated landconsulting and remediation
- An in depth knowledge of the relevant industry standards Acts Regulations and Guidelines related to contaminated site assessment and remediation
- A strong work ethic a proven commitment to HSE your team and yourself
- A genuine commitment to successful project delivery both commercially and technically with a proven reputation for providing exceptional client outcomes
- Excellentwritten and oral communication skills ability to adapt to a variety of audiences with excellent report writing capability
- Demonstrated competency in report and proposal writing in a variety of formats for a range of clients/sectors
