Superintendent Commercial Construction
Bloomington MN Direct Hire $130-170k
Konik is partnering with a leading integrated real estate and construction firm to add a Superintendent to their growing team. Recognized for their award-winning projects and inclusive culture this company provides development design construction and property management services under one roof. Superintendent Responsibilities:
Coordinate plan and supervise on-site construction activities with foremen assistant superintendents subcontractors and craft personnel
Ensure project milestones materials and inspections align with schedule and budget requirements
Maintain proactive communication between field operations project management and design teams
Implement and enforce company safety programs including weekly audits and OSHA compliance
Create maintain and update project schedules and 3-week look-ahead plans
Monitor progress identify risks and initiate corrective actions to ensure on-time completion
Oversee quality control and compliance with client specifications throughout all project phases
Manage and maintain SWPPP and other site-related environmental requirements
Build strong relationships with clients trade partners and team members to ensure project success
Superintendent Requirements:
5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects for general contractors
Proven leadership communication and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of construction means methods and safety practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore
High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management Civil or Architectural Engineering preferred
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
