Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues on trucks and trailers
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes tire rotations brake inspections and fluid checks
- Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshoot engine transmission and drivetrain issues
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Order and replace parts as needed
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet repair deadlines
- Keep the shop area organized clean and safe
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a diesel or truck mechanic (preferred)
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and read schematics
- Valid drivers license
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
