Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Test Technician to join our this role you will assist in testing troubleshooting and validating electronic components and systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in electronics and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional diagnostic and environmental testing on electronic assemblies circuit boards and systems.
Use test equipment such as multimeters oscilloscopes signal generators and power supplies.
Record and document test results accurately and clearly.
Identify and report issues related to component failures or test inconsistencies.
Assist engineers in troubleshooting and reworking electronic assemblies as needed.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) test protocols and safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and equipment.
Support continuous improvement efforts in testing processes and product quality.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics Electrical Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Basic understanding of electronic circuits and components (e.g. resistors capacitors transistors ICs).
Familiarity with standard test equipment (multimeter oscilloscope etc.).
Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams and test instructions.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
Previous experience in a test or manufacturing environment (internships or coursework projects acceptable).
Basic soldering and rework skills.
Experience with data entry or test software.
