About the RoleWere hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic to work on a variety of specialized vacuum trucks jetters and heavy-duty service vehicles. If you have a deep understanding of diesel diagnostics hydraulics and electrical systemsand want autonomy while working with a high-performance teamthis position is for you.Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair diesel engines electrical systems and hydraulic components with minimal supervision
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Keep meticulous digital records of work performed and parts used
- Maintain cleanliness safety and efficiency in the shop and yard
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior mechanics as needed
- Communicate proactively with fleet management and operations staff
What You Bring- Experience: Minimum 35 years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience required; prior fleet maintenance experience is strongly preferred
- Technical Skills: Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with engines DEF systems and aftertreatment; must supply own tools
- Hydraulic & Electrical Systems: Must be proficient in hydraulic and electrical repair
- Equipment Knowledge: Experience with vacuum trucks hydro-excavators or municipal fleet equipment a strong plus
- Licensing: Valid Drivers License required; CDL Class B or willingness to obtain within 6 months preferred
- Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities
- Communication: Bilingual a plus
