ING WB Transaction Approval & Advice is looking for a Senior Credit & Change Officer.

The department: CRO/WB/Transaction Approval & Advice (TA&A)
Within ING Wholesale Banking TA&A is responsible for the analysis advice and decision making of transactions for our clients. This is done by risk managers (SCOs and Credit Officers) who have a thorough understanding of credit structuring credit risk credit policies businesses & markets and ESG related addition to the client-by-client approval process risk managers are responsible for portfolio monitoring and advising senior management on strategic directions in terms of risk appetite and portfolio steering.

TA&A Amsterdam employs 75 people and is organized in 5 teams;

Energy Transportation & Logistics; Real Estate Infra & Construction; Commodities Food and Agri; TMT&H Acquisition Finance Securitization BMG Corporate Investments WCS; Environmental & Social Responsibility

The role
The TA&A department plays a pivotal role in the decisioning process as part of the lending process within the bank and also noting technological developments this process is set to see developments in the coming years. Next to credit expertise we are therefore looking for a colleague who can design drive and execute the transformation of some of our core processes with a specific focus on the decisioning part of the lending process.

In addition the role will be part of the AF and TMT&HC team and will require assessing new deals setting risk appetite on transactions portfolio maintenance (with support from credit officer) and contributing to global sector/product risk appetite. The focus will however be with the change program.

The Team
The team is dynamic and we work closely with all our Front Office colleagues both on transaction basis as well as on processes and continuous improvements. For the role it is important to have a strong connection to departments like Tribe Lending Lending Capital management COO/data scientists execution and support units but also Credit risk management when it concerns policies and risk strategy.

The role will be located in Amsterdam and will be part of the AF & TMT&HC team however will cover a wider scope as described above.

Who we are looking for

• Proven successful track-record of driving and implementing value chain or organizational wide change initiatives with at least 7-10 yrs of relevant WB/FO experience and a strong network within ING with various functions.

• Independent and strategic thinker not afraid to provide a different point of view and open to the exchange of ideas.

• Excellent project management skills experienced in driving change and managing stakeholders.

• Youre a self-starter and highly flexible able to develop yourself to the decisioning side of the team and showing a good eye for risk and credit structuring.
