About The Opportunity

Programmed are looking for a Team Leader to join our dedicated team in Lytton committed to delivering exceptional maintenance services for our major contract at Ampol Refinery. Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be responsible for the onsite implementation of grounds maintenance at the site. The role involves project planning work scheduling on-site supervision of employees and contractors and auditing the delivery of works on time with quality outcomes in a cost effective and safe manner. You will have strongtime management skills and apassion for delivering a high quality service to our existing and future customers.

Position Type:Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the crew

• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to help team members develop their skills and achieve their potential

• Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding

• Undertake all horticultural activities including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs

• Implement mulching and planting programs

• Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment

• Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit

• Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard.

• Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures.

• Operate a range of commercial out-front and zero-turn mowers and other small plant equipment.

About You

To join our team you will have qualifications or experience in horticulture parks and gardens gardening or landscaping with a passion for providing quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally you will have:

• A current drivers license and white card

• A chemical certificate (desirable)

• A professional approach to the workplace

• The ability to execute work to a high standard

• A strong commitment to and understanding of quality environmental and occupational health and safety management systems
