Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Security Dispatcher to join our dynamic security team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of guests staff and the hotel property. As a Hotel Security Dispatcher you will be responsible for monitoring security systems responding to emergencies and coordinating communication among various departments and external agencies. Your expertise in crisis management and effective communication will be essential in ensuring a safe environment for all patrons while upholding the hotels reputation for exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to promptly identify and assess security breaches or hazards.
- Coordinate communication between security personnel hotel staff and emergency services during incidents.
- Ensure the security of all hotel entrances and exits including guest access to secure areas.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding safety and security issues while providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports of incidents and daily activities for management review.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel property to deter unauthorized access and provide visible security presence.
- Maintain clear and detailed logs of all security-related communications and actions taken.
- Receive and prioritize incoming calls alarms and reports of suspicious activity or emergencies
- Ensure all emergency equipment (radios panic alarms fire systems) are tested and functioning
- Act as liaison between hotel departments emergency responders and guests during emergencies
- Monitor VIP arrivals special events and high-profile guest movements for added security needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in security operations preferably within the hospitality sector or a similar environment.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written to effectively relay information and coordinate efforts.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions during high-pressure situations or emergencies.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and monitoring systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent observational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local laws regulations and emergency response protocols is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as required.
