Associate Professor: Annual Minimum Salary-$182100-Annual Maximum Salary-$218500 for Full Time Status (For 8 hours/weekannual minimum salary-$36420.80 annual maximum salary-$43700.80)Professor: Annual Minimum Salary-$209400-Annual Maximum Salary-$301550 For Full Time Status (For 8 hours/weekannual minimum salary$41878.72-annual maximum salary-$60311.68)Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c) (3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.
The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy Doctor of Dental Medicine Master of Arts in Medical Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. Assistant/Associate/Professor of Biomedical Sciences - Pharmacology is a part-time (0.2 FTE) position within the School of Dental Medicine. The position will be responsible for developing the pharmacology didactic and clinical education program in the DMD program. Ideal applicants will have teaching experience in pharmacology to health professions students. Alignment with the schools mission is essential.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop the Pharmacology 1 and 2 course content for delivery to the students in the PNWU-SDM DMD program
Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental needs
Education:
Required: PhD in Pharmacology or a Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
Experience:
Required: Experience teaching pharmacology to health professions students
