Job Summary

Position Summary:

As a QA Engineer - Automation you will be responsible for successful and timely delivery of all QA deliverables for the clients of New Vision. You are responsible to maintain absolute confidentiality for all the work you will be delivering. The job responsibilities include but not limited to preparing and executing test cases attend project meetings and provide relevant updates assist the project team with their task.

Responsibilities:

To undertake an automation project and execute it

5 years of experience with hands-on coding and development of Test automation frameworks using Java/Python required.

Experience with SDLC including unit tests code management build and deployment tools like Maven Bitbucket and Jenkins

Expertise with Selenium for UI test automation

Experience with manual automated UI database and/or backend testing

Excellent skills on working with database queries

Strong understanding of REST and demonstrated automation experience with REST APIs testing.

Experience executing and coordinating integration system regression and user-acceptance testing.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

This is requirement from client - 5 years of hands-on experiencein software testing and test automation.

Strong programming proficiency in Java ability to design write debug and maintain efficient reusable and clean automation code.
Solid experience in building test automation solutions/scripts usingSelenium WebDriverwithPage Object Model (POM)design patterns.
Experience in designing developing and executing comprehensive automated regression suites.
Good understanding and practical usage of testing frameworks likeTestNG / JUnit.
Strong grasp ofsoftware testing principles(black box white box regression boundary value etc.) and ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
Knowledge of working withCI/CD tools(Jenkins Git Bitbucket) for integrating test automation.
Experience working inAgile/Scrum environments contributing to sprint-level deliverables.
Proficiency in usingdefect tracking and test management toolsfor end-to-end QA ownership.
Should be willing to work in times overlapping with US.
