The Supplier Quality Leader will be responsible for driving quality for an assigned sub-set of suppliers within the Controls and Accessories Commodity. You will lead a team responsible for supplier management production approvals and new product development while drive improvement actions utilizing FlightDeck. You should have in-depth knowledge of quality management best practices and have working knowledge of Aerospace supply chain market dynamics.

This role is eligible for remote work - preference will be given to those candidates near major GE Aerospace suppliers or GE engine assembly or test locations. Targeted locations include Cincinnati OH and Lynn MA.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers within the Controls and Accessories Sourcing Commodity.
  • This team will be responsible for all production (OEM) quality process for an assigned sub-set of suppliers inclusive of Supplier Quality Engineering and Product Quality Engineering with a focus on Product Quality Engineering and New Product Introduction.
  • Manage supplier qualifications action plans audits and performance monitoring.
  • Drive root cause and corrective action plans across suppliers
  • Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers
  • Identify gaps in quality system and implement corrective actions
  • Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives
  • Present product / program strategies roadmaps risks and recommendations to senior leaders
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Utilize technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations
  • Travel required up to 25%

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or institution
  • A minimum of 5 years in skillset

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong background in supplier quality and supplier management
  • Project leadership experience
  • Experience manufacturing engine or airframe controls or accessories; Examples include: FADEC sensors valves actuators fuel controls starters heat exchangers harnesses filters flex hoses etc.
  • Experience managing quality or manufacturing teams
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

The base pay range for this position is 108400.00 - 144500.00 - 180700.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors
including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a
percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. If equity-eligible should say You are also equity-eligible This posting is
