We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mascot Phoenix Mercury to join our this high-impact role you will support all facets of our mascot program for Live Presentation while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as the primary Scorch performer for Phoenix Mercury for all home games events grass root initiatives domestic and international events as scheduled by the NBA.
• Serve as a backup Gorilla performer for Phoenix Suns events and grass root initiatives for a minimum of 75 events.
• Assists in administration for the Phoenix Mercury and Phoenix Suns Mascots and Dunk Teams (appearances props costuming vehicles choreography talent sourcing coaching attending practices sponsor relations).
• Assist in the ideation writing and production of all Scorch skits stunts videos and other in-game features including set design and prop creation.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Need from Our Mascot Phoenix Mercury:

• Ability to meet and greet entertain and engage large crowds including signing autographs and posing for photographs
• Acrobatic experience and other performance-related skills (dancing tumbling belaying cheer stunting stilt-walking etc.)
• Ability to perform stunts gymnastics dance steps and acro-dunking

Experience/ Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 or more years of related experience of in-arena sporting events

• Previous NBA or WNBA experience highly preferred
• Gymnastics and acro-dunking experience preferred
