SUMMARY: Assists in the operation of large capacity vacuum furnaces used in the production of vacuum melted master metal; prepares ingot molds assists bricking furnace lining; strips pushes crops and blast or grinds ingots; breaks and grinds ends of charges; assists in changing coil assembly; receives revert into MMIT system; familiarizes self with the operation of the vacuum furnace and related equipment; receives instructions from the master metal supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER QUALIFICATION:
Regular attendance and the ability to work weekday and weekend overtime.
