Software Systems Engineer (Associate, Experienced, and Senior)

The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Systems Engineer (Associate Experienced and Senior) to join the B-1B Software team located in Tinker AFB OK. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

The B-1 Software Systems Team works with the United States Air Force (USAF) Customer to support a multitude of software lifecycle related activities using agile methodologies with focused software changes related to controls and displays weapons delivery navigation and communication systems.

Position Responsibilities:

• Designs develops analyzes and maintains software systems that meet industry customer and internal quality safety security and certification standards

• Partners with appropriate stakeholders to inform system definition and translate system-level requirements into software requirements and models that meet customer operational needs performance requirements and have clear traceability to design code and test artifacts

• Completes software system-level analyses to identify risks issues and opportunities; integrates and deploys mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle

• Performs code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards

• Monitors and reviews test completion verification processes and issue resolution for software systems

• Develops user documentation and training to educate end users about usage of software products. Reviews product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards by tracking and evaluating internal team and supplier performance

• Implements current and emerging technologies tools frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development

• Performs software project management and software supplier management activities

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate Experienced and Senior Software Engineer - Systems Engineers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• 1 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis Design Code Integration & Test)

• 1 years of experience software development

• General experience working in an Agile software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience supporting software and hardware integration of bombers platforms or similar aerospace systems

• Experience in creating and updating requirements related to bombers platforms or similar aerospace systems

• Experience in conducting test analysis to verify requirement verification and analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate: $80750.00 - $109250.00

Summary pay range for Experienced: $99450.00 - $134550.00.

Summary pay range for Senior: $119000.00 - $161000.00.
