Web frontend Team Lead(MWD)

As a Team Lead you will be responsible for leading a small dedicated team of web developers in the design development and maintenance of our core applications. Youll be a hands-on leader spending a significant portion of your time coding while also mentoring your team fostering a culture of technical excellence and driving project success.

We are looking for an someone who can:

• Lead mentor and manage a team of 5 software engineers.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the team and stakeholders.
• Architect develop and maintain high-performance scalable web applications using PHP Laravel and .
• Co-design and consume RESTful APIs provided by the Backend team for seamless data integration.
• Oversee code quality conduct code reviews and implement a comprehensive testing strategy.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Utilize and optimize our CI/CD pipelines with tools like CircleCI.
• Oversee project tracking and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure efficient team workflows.
• Actively contribute to shaping technical strategy and long-term architecture.

Qualifications :

Who you are: 

• Proven experience as a Team Lead in a PHP/Laravel/ environment.
• Expertise in building Single-Page Applications (SPAs) with a modern JavaScript framework preferably .
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools particularly CircleCI.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong leadership conflict resolution and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Fluent in English both written and oral; French is a plus.

 Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AWS including ECS Redis and Lambda.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Experience with monitoring and dashboarding tools like Datadog.
• A passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Experience with remote or hybrid team management.
