Job Summary
As a Full Charge Accountant you will be responsible for multiple clients (25 - 30 monthly). The ideal applicant must be able to receive raw data and be able to prepare year-end closeout possess a strong work ethic excellent client communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- W2s & 1099 reporting
- Enter and classify client data
- Handle routine client questions
- Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
- Utilize QuickBooks with ability to train clients
- Fixed Asset Tracking
- Prepare financial statements for CPA review
- Prepare journal entries for month and year-end close
- Prepare Payroll Sales & Use Tax Returns Property Tax Returns
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects & Tax Return preparations as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree preferred but candidates with strong equivalent experience will be considered
- 1 yrs of full charge accounting experience in public accounting with a strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with clients and coworkers
- Knowledge/experience with preparing quarterly tax estimates is a plus
- Experience with data entry record keeping and computer operation
- Organizational skills attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working on multiple open projects and clients at one time
- Intimate knowledge of Intuit platforms and fluent in Microsoft suite proficient with QuickBooks (Online); experience with Practice CS is a plus
- Energized professional with a client first mentality

The Location:
This is a hybrid work from home / office position. The Staff Accountant will work on-site out of our Matthews North Carolina corporate offices on office days.
