Job Summary

Were seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security cameras
Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
Interact with customers and address their concerns
Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

We have three permanent part-time positions available with the following hours of work:

Position 1

Thursday - Saturday 8am-1.30pm

Position 2

Sunday and Monday 8am-3.30pm
Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-1.30pm

Position 3

Sunday and Monday 3.30pm-9.30pm

Qualifications :

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Experience in a customer-facing role such as retail or hospitality would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation along with the ability to stay calm under pressure would be beneficial.
