Job Summary
Job Title:
Responsibilities:This position oversees and coordinates all the work in the production area assigned organizing resources for the best performance of the area. Provides help and assistance in all the activities related to the department.
- Maintain production and quality KPIs of the plant/area
- Manage assign and request resources as needed
- Make sure that all policies of the company are followed
- Make sure that the raw materials utilization is ideal
- Comply with all safety regulations
- Make sure that the ERP system is up to date.
- Responsible for the success of any initiative or project that the company decide to implement
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES In any job with supervisory responsibilities the following are an explicit part of the incumbents responsibilities and essential functions:
- rticipate in decisions related to the selection promotion transfer pay and discipline of assigned personnel.
- Clearly communicate job duties and responsibilities to enable individuals to proceed with certainty in the performance of their positions.
- Monitor the work performance of assigned personnel on a continual basis; conduct effective performance reviews; take corrective action whenever necessary and where necessary work with HR Generalists to establish performance improvement plans.
- Support the development of assigned personnels skills and abilities and demonstrate by personal example the desired standards of conduct (Jostens values) and work performance.
- Identify and resolve skill gaps and succession issues.
- Administer Company policies regarding discipline absenteeism a fair and equitable manner and fully document all incidents and actions taken.
- Involve assigned HR Generalist on compliance issues such as pay equity equal opportunity in hiring and promotions and proper procedures for hiring terminations lay-offs etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS: Note that (i) computer literacy and working-level skill with the basic MS Office suite (Word Excel Outlook Explorer) (ii) good verbal and written communication skills (iii) good interpersonal skills and (iv) the ability to work well both individually and in a team environment are default requirements for all Jostens exempt and salaried nonexempt employees.
Job Requirements:
- Industrials Engineering or Industrial technician
- 3 years of experience in related position
- ERP System experience management
- Computer skills mid proficiency
Preferred:
- Bilingual English Spanish
