About the Program
The Child Youth & Family Wellbeing program at Each supports children young people and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness and family breakdown. Our Housing Support and Family Connections Services team works alongside clients to build safety stability and connection empowering families to thrive.
Your role your impact
As Team Leader you will:
- Lead mentor support and motivate a team of practitioners providing clinical and operational supervision training and guidance.
- Develop implement and coordinate systems for high quality inclusive and flexible service deliveryincluding intake assessment client engagement case planning intervention review and referral or case closure.
- Oversee daily operations of the Housing Support and Family Connections Services teams ensuring efficient caseload management team meetings and staff supervision.
- Provide oversight and leadership across the full duration of program delivery which runs across 7 days.
- Participate in and support an on-call roster to ensure effective leadership presence and timely response to emerging issues during program delivery.
- Manage risk and safety concerns through continuous assessment and review.
- Maintain and improve systems for data management risk reporting quality improvement and compliance.
- Monitor performance and evaluate outcomes identifying and implementing solutions for high quality service delivery.
- Implement and maintain evidence-based practices in case management child safety and family interventions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation funding and reporting requirements including Child Safe Standards and homelessness sector guidelines.
Who were looking for
- Extensive leadership and management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology Social Work or related discipline
- Current drivers license
- Experience in trauma-informed and family-focused practice
- Understanding of working with individuals or families impacted by family violence and/or homelessness
