We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Content Writing Trainee to join our Grab Support Helpcentre team. This traineeship is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves creating impactful content has a knack for simplifying complex information and is eager to learn about customer support operations in a fast-paced tech environment.
As a Content Writing Trainee you will play a key role in enhancing the Helpcentres resources ensuring our users can find clear accurate and helpful information to resolve their queries independently.
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write edit and optimize long-form articles FAQs and guides for the Grab Support Helpcentre.
- Research: Collaborate with various teams to gather accurate information about Grabs products services and processes.
- User-Focused Writing: Ensure all content is written with the customer in mind using clear concise and engaging language.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility and accessibility of Helpcentre articles.
- Basic HTML Coding: Use basic HTML to format and structure Helpcentre articles ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Content Updates: Regularly audit and update existing Helpcentre content to reflect new features policies or changes.
- Feedback Incorporation: Work with customer support teams to identify common user pain points and address them through content.
- Collaboration: Partner with designers product managers and support teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly content.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during the traineeship:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications Journalism English Marketing or a related field.
- Strong command of English with excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and write user-friendly content.
- Basic understanding of HTML coding for formatting and structuring content.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital content creation.
- Proficient in MS Office Google Workspace or other content management tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to Grabs tone and style guidelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in content writing blogging or technical writing.
- Familiarity with customer support or helpdesk platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of Southeast Asias culture and languages is advantageous.
