We deliver a range of services including aged care settlement youth and family programs empowering people to connect belong and thrive.

About the Opportunity

At Mosaic our home care services are growing and we have aged care clients throughout the Newcastle Lake Macquarie and Hunter areas.

Were seeking compassionate reliable and experienced Aged Care Support Workers to join our team. Youll help our clients maintain their independence safety and wellbeing making a meaningful difference every day.

Youll provide support with:

Personal care

Meal preparation

Transport to appointments

Medication prompting

Light domestic assistance

Social and respite support

We currently have up to four vacancies in the following areas:

Charlestown area (covering Belmont/Catherine Hill Bay) Two staff members with Certificate III in individual support minimum qualification and able to do personal care domestic assistance and medication support preferred.

Cessnock/Weston One staff member with Certificate III in individual support minimum qualification and able to do personal care domestic assistance and medication support preferred

Toronto area One staff member with Certificate III in individual support minimum qualification and able to do personal care domestic assistance and medication support preferred

What Youll Bring

To be successful in this role you will:

Be willing to travel locally between clients

Be flexible to work various shifts including some afternoon and weekend services

Have genuine empathy and interest in working in a multicultural field

Hold a current drivers licence

Have a reliable motor vehicle with registration and comprehensive insurance

Have a mobile phone

Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)

Have required immunisations as directed by Mosaic

Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent

Hold a National Police Check and Working with Children Check

We support clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and speaking another language in addition to English will be highly regarded.
