This is an 8.0 hour per day220 day per year Graphics I position with benefits at the District Support Services Center (DSSC) in the Publication Services Department. Anticipated start date isNovember 24 2025.
Hours for this position are6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of digital printers paper digital workflow. Knowledge of bindery operations including cutters folders laminators paper drills and coil binding.

REPORTS TO:Coordinator of Publication Services
JOB SUMMARY:
Produce printed material that meets the needs of the district through the operation of various types of printing duplication and bindery equipment at a high level of quality efficiency and accuracy.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate and cooperate with other staff members to meet the district needs and deadlines of job orders.
- Perform efficient operation of digital printers.
- Perform simple to complex functions in a variety of computer layout and design programs.
- Read and interpret written instructions job orders and labels on chemicals and supplies.
- Respond positively to questions from clients and staff relating to job progress new job orders or changes to current jobs.
- Perform efficient operation of bindery equipment to include but not limited to: cutter folder stitcher drill book punch and binder coil binding equipment and laminator.
- Assist other staff in tasks such as packaging counting labeling and shipping.
- Maintain equipment by following daily and weekly maintenance protocols and schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
Skills Knowledge and Abilities required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Acrobat Professional and the use of the internet.
- Demonstrated ability to read write perform basic math follow and interpret written/oral directions and work independently.
- Ability to apply an extreme attention to detail and produce highly accurate work products.
- Ability to work effectively under stress with deadline pressures and frequent interruptions and to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and organize tasks with minimal supervision prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to remain flexible and positive in dealing with multiple demands.
- Skill and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all individuals in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to perform physical work including standing walking lifting a minimum of 50 lbs reaching kneeling and bending.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to demonstrate effective cross-cultural communication skills and culturally responsive practices.
- Ability to identify and address personal cultural and institutional bias.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years work experience in printing-related position.
