We are looking to hire a Senior Transportation Supervisor for our San Francisco operation. Thissupervisor is our driver workforces first line of management and will supervise a designated group of drivers. Responsibilities includedriver interviews performance coaching performance evaluations training appreciation and recognition.
This position requires a commercial drivers license (or be willing to obtain one) and experience overseeing drivers.
Duties:
- Monitor key performance metrics (ex.g. OTP timesheets SamSara etc.) for assigned drivers and attendants to track trends provide feedback and coach in a timely manner.
- Provide regulatory operations policy and performance coaching to drivers and attendants.
- Provide corrective coaching up to and including corrective actions (in partnership with Operations Manager and HR).
- Complete performance evaluations for direct reports.
- As required conduct interviews and make decisions on offers in coordination with the HR department.
- Provide individual and team recognition and coordinate staff appreciation events for drivers.
- Contribute to a positive work environment for drivers and attendants by providing supervision feedback coaching and training to promote high employee motivation morale and commitment to company values and customer service.
- Do followings and ride-alongs for drivers.
- Serve as supervisor on duty at designated times to respond to any employee questions/concerns safety needs at base or in the field or employee performance issues.
- Contribute to training classes remedial training driver commercial license academy and other training needs to support Safety & Training team functions.
- Respond to field issues as needed (accidents or incidents) and conduct yard and program audits.
- Contribute to division-wide projects aimed at fostering continuous improvement and growth.
- Perform backup driver and attendant duties as needed.
Requirements
The following skills and experience are qualifications for this job:
- Leadership and supervisory experience.
- Transportation operational experience.
- Knowledge of ADA policies and regulations.
- Knowledge ofVivalon service areas and Service Contract requirements is desired.
- Knowledge of applicable State and Federal work and passenger bus safety rules & regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word Excel and Outlook.
- Skill in organization time management prioritization and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
- $70000-$80000 annually (depending on experience)
