About the job  

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cybersecurity Leader focused on Cyber Threat Intelligence to join our Global Security Operations & Incident Response team at Inter IKEA. Reporting to the Security Operations and Incident Response Manager you will work with a team of cyber experts to enhance our ability to analyse external and internal threats and enable a threat led SecOps area. This senior hands-on technical role will allow you to apply your passion engage with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve impactful results.  

This is a senior technical contributor role that will enable you to deliver brilliant outcomes through your expertise motivation to learn and collaboration with the team while being hands-on in working with the latest and greatest cyber solutions.   

In this role you will be responsible for enhancing critical cyber defence capabilities by setting the direction and operating a cyber threat intelligence function that ensures proactive identification of potential threats to the IKEA value chain and directly focussing adjacent teams like threat hunting and threat detection towards highest likelihood threats.   

In the Inter IKEA Cybersecurity area we adopt an engineering mindset to ensure individual services are effective leverage automation and orchestration are optimised and interconnected. This is especially relevant with Cyber Threat Intelligence as its true value can only be realised when it is deeply embedded and integrated into cybersecurity processes.  

In this role you will also engage in cross-organizational networks contributing to critical topics like inter-organizational collaboration Cyber Protect & Prevent Attack Surface Management and Data Analytics.

We are looking for a senior Cybersecurity Expert with experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence related topics. 

Based on organizational requirements set a strategic direction for IKEAs Threat Intelligence Program and drive delivery across the following sub areas:  

• Brand Monitoring 

• Dark Web Monitoring 

• Data Leak Detection 

• Threat Landscape & Emerging Threat Trends 

• Threat Actor Tracking 

• Geopolitical Threat Assessment 

• Vulnerability Intelligence 

• Intelligence Investigations 

• Adversary Simulation; Red/Purple Team Support 

• Incident Management and Threat Detection support 

Other required contributions:  

Apply an engineering mindset to develop a highly automated and integrated Threat Intelligence process with relevant connections to adjacent cybersecurity services   

Foster a close relationship with the SOC and connected cybersecurity service areas to ensure organizational requirements are understood and that value is delivered to key stakeholders  

Drive collaboration with cross functional and cross organizational stakeholders  

Enable threat led cybersecurity services  

To be successful in this role you should have:   

• Demonstrable experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence and connected cybersecurity areas  

• Expertise with scripting and query languages commonly used in SecOps environments  

• Hands-on experience with Intelligence tools and data management platforms  

• Ability to respond to changes and manage uncertainty in a fast-changing organizational environment  

• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices like NIST CSF MITRE ATTACK OWASP Top 10  

We believe that you are used to managing highly confidential information and to act with a strict level of integrity and professional discretion. You are comfortable with communicating and explaining security concerns and topics to persons with and without solid understanding of information technology. With your excellent communication skills you have the capability to build strong relations with both internal as external stakeholders.
