Job Summary

This is a hybrid working role.

Working hours are 37.5hrs per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (timings are flexible).

As a Junior Business Development Manager you will assist with delivering the organisations business development activities whilst generating revenue. You will deliver against defined KPIs to ensure consistent profitable and sustainable growth in sales across targeted service lines for the Environment Testing business in Ireland. You will develop and sustain relationships with new and existing customers and key stakeholders and raise the profile of the company in Ireland by identifying business development opportunities. 

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying leads and developing prospects to generate project pipeline of sufficient value to achieve and sustain growth objectives.
  • Key account management identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and additional sales opportunities.
  • Identify market trends and develop and execute actions to develop business from these.
  • Work with group marketing to devise marketing materials and tools to support business development and promote Eurofins brand.
  • Support timely execution of contractual processes including escalating for review.
  • Execute on the local requirements of global agreements.
  • Support tender processes.
  • Acts as a key contact for targeted customer accounts.
  • Assist in the timely completion of Sales Reports.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery: proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Identification of growth opportunities resulting from quality and services improvement.
  • Ensure timely and good quality handover of won work to the logistics operations and lab teams so that customer requirements are well understood and resourced by the business.

 


Qualifications :

  • Previous customer facing and sales experience preferred.
  • Hard working self-motivated and professional team player.
  • Confident and effective communicator and relationship builder.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task prioritise organise and co-ordinate your own workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
