Job Summary

Were seeking a highly organized creative and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Director of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services. This person will be responsible for managing daily activities and schedules strengthening stakeholder relationships and more. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of organization communication and creativity.

  • Manage and organize the Directors inbox including folders prioritization and timely responses.
  • Monitor communications to ensure critical emails requests and opportunities are addressed promptly.
  • Coordinate executive-level meetings scheduling outreach planning and follow-up.
  • Support relationship stewardship with all levels of stakeholders government and community leaders with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Prepare official documents presentations and briefing materials for meetings and events.
  • Create agendas capture meeting notes and manage follow-ups to ensure execution.
  • Handle scheduling for internal and external meetings ensuring efficiency and alignment with priorities.
  • Support expense management travel arrangements for the Director.
  • All other duties as assigned. Travel required.
