As a Technical Lead on TrueTandems Digital Modernization team you will lead a high-performing team of developers supporting the Web Services programmodernizing and maintaining mission-critical platforms.

This role oversees all technical aspects of the engagement including architecture delivery integration and performance of Drupal 11 SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments. You will guide the team in adopting modern engineering practicesAgile delivery DevSecOps automation and test-driven developmentto strengthen site reliability enhance accessibility and reduce technical debt.

Leadership & Delivery

Lead a technical delivery team responsible for enterprise Drupal modernization integrations and maintenance.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the Web Services Product Owner coordinating sprint planning backlog prioritization and cross-team collaboration.

Oversee technical design architecture and code quality across multiple web platforms.

Mentor and coach developers on best practices for modern web development accessibility and secure coding.

Manage workload distribution task assignments and performance across the technical team.

Architecture & Development

Define and maintain the technical roadmap ensuring alignment with modernization strategy.

Implement DevSecOps pipelines for automated builds testing (Behat/Gherkin) and deployments.

Ensure consistent configuration management version control and documentation across all systems.

Oversee integrations with enterprise systems APIs and Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint Power Platform).

Use AI-assisted validation tools and performance monitoring platforms (New Relic Splunk Akamai) to optimize site reliability and accessibility.

Quality & Governance

Enforce development standards peer reviews and Section 508/WCAG compliance.

Track and manage technical debt remediation efforts and modernization priorities.

Support security compliance activities in alignment with FISMA FedRAMP and policy.

Provide technical reporting progress updates and risk mitigation recommendations to program leadership.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).

8 years of technology experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.

Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Jenkins Azure DevOps) and automated testing (Behat PHPUnit).

Familiarity with cloud-based hosting and CDNs (Akamai Acquia Cloud Pantheon).

Strong understanding of Section 508 WCAG 2.1 FISMA and other federal compliance frameworks.

Experience leading teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
