Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10s 6:15 AM 4:45 PM
Pay Rate: $48 $53/hr

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Surgical Technologistfor an exciting job in Cincinnati OH.

Responsibilities:

Review daily assignments and surgical preference lists; update as needed.
Prepare and organize surgical tables ensuring all instruments equipment and supplies are ready.
Obtain specialized instruments and sutures for physicians before procedures.
Handle specialized surgical equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist surgeons with suctioning retractors sutures wound irrigation and skin closure under supervision.
Circulate for operative procedures under RN supervision.
Assist with operative site preparation and wound care post-procedure.
Cleanse operative sites and connect drainage tubes as required.
Maintain accurate inventory of surgical instruments; ensure proper sterilization and storage.
Uphold sterile field and infection control protocols at all times.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with physicians healthcare personnel and families.
Sound judgment and understanding of surgical and scientific principles.
Competency in technical skills validated through hospital instruction or certification.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.

Education & Certifications:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Education Program OR three (3) years of Surgical Technologist experience within the past five (5) years.
Required: BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
Preferred:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
- Tech in SurgeryCertified (TS-C) through NCCT
